Landscape Architecture

RPS' passionate team of Landscape designers support the design and development of urban regeneration projects, masterplanned communities, transport infrastructure, education, health, tourism and sports precincts.

Our philosophy is to approach every project individually, focusing on producing contemporary and collaborative design solutions that respond to the natural character and context of a site.

We understand the importance of the cultural landscape of a place and the need for a coherent design language that creates rich and meaningful spaces both within the site and beyond its boundaries. We create inclusive, diverse spaces with enduring solutions that provide long term community benefit and a positive legacy for future generations.

Working from RPS studios across Australia, our Landscape Architecture team has a firm commitment to incorporating sustainable design principles in all projects. We recognise that there are several ways we can influence the environmental impact of a project and are committed to working with our clients to ensure this happens. Our combined experience, specialist skills and proven track-record ensures that we offer clients not only sustainable and resilient solutions but a fresh and vibrant approach to design.

Our practice has an ongoing and active involvement with the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects and we provide support for our employees throughout their professional registration process. We also have successful partnerships with several Australian universities providing work experience and mentoring opportunities for landscape architecture students, sponsoring university events, and assisting with guest lecturing and studio critiques.
